This growing menu of diagnostic test strips will be able to test a variety of fluids including saliva, urine, blood, and others, with the first being a saliva-based test for COVID-19.
The technology for PERSOWN Diagnostic rests in a small inexpensive and disposable test strip, like a blood glucose test. When presented with an electrical charge, it can measure the presence of a virus against an antibody or aptamer, producing an instant result, like flipping a light switch. Millions of strips can be produced per day using the patent-pending molecular bioprinting processes.
PERSOWN’s breakthrough electrochemical biosensor technology platform is capable of testing a wide variety of infectious diseases, acute conditions, cancers and toxins. Applications include medical diagnostics, home health care, environmental, food, and animal testing.
PERSOWN currently has more than four dozen candidate protein biomarkers identified for additional testing, as well as an expanding menu of in-vitro diagnostic tests being developed concurrently by university scientists and biotech partners.
